oh gods. it's so tempting to make that one horrible joke.. D:

I don't get it. Why do so many furries say "gods" instead of god? Some kind of meme? Inside joke?

You know, if a pokemon game looked like that, maybe it would be popular again.

It'd also help if they didn't blatantly repeat the same exact scenario again and again (Leave from tiny village into long-winded journey from town to town, battling an evil team (insert word here) while collecting gym badges, take on the Elite Four, and then have absolutely nothing else to do but grind and try to find somebody to link battle with).

Pokemon Emerald was the biggest step in the right direction to giving the series something new and fresh. The Battle Frontier was a darn nice place for a good challenge, and it gave something to work at beyond the Elite Four and just collecting pokemon.

The reasoning is simple. Most monotheistic cultures are usually filled with jackasses, and most polytheistic cultures are not. Compare Christianity and Buddhism.

As a philosophy student, I can tell you both are pretty retarded. ANd furries just say it because it sounds like a sexy fantasy thing

I don't thing Buddhism has any gods. They're just chillin' and trying to achieve enlightenment. A better reference to polytheism would be greek/egyptian/lovecraftian/etc. religions.

I think he meant to say Hinduism. But that religion's pretty weird to begin with.

  • Furries think polytheistic societies are more accepting of homosexuality, whereas mono definitely aren't. Same reason most gays don't like religion. Nobody wants to follow a religion where their sexual preference is forbidden.

For the love of Buddha...we are not "polytheistic", nor are we monotheistic.
It's not that we don't believe in a god or gods, it's that we follow a different path outside of what may be.

  • oh fyi, it's spelled Buddhism not Buddism, just thought I might point that out (not trying to be a jackass, it's just the right way to spell it)
