    This is a pet peeve of mine: in vampire and ghost stories, why would anyone want to live if after death they get all these superpowers and can still interact with and enjoy the world?

    Nah she just bumped into the guy and the minor social interaction completely robbed her of the will to live. Perfectly normal, lot of people can probably relate.

    Because it's likely that you don't stick around for long for before disappearing forever. (Otherwise the world would be cluttered with billions of ghosts in populated areas)

    There seems to be a little confusion. The answers are on Snout's Patreon.
    1. In the original concept she was hit by a train, but that scene was cut, fair enough too. I just imagine she was hit by a car, or something fell on her.
    2. She's sexually repressed, too busy to have sex so when she dies she becomes lustful and sex is part her unfinished business
    And 3, the guy has the rare ability to be able to see / interact with ghosts, that's why he gets her attention

    This animation features someone dying in it and yet someone removed the death tag, not to start any tag war or anything but shouldn't it have the death tag?
