Who knows just how Lotus managed to score an invitation to such a fancy garden party, among the esteemed company of nobles and other honoured guests. It was certainly disconcerting for them all, to have a kobold of all people so confidently mingling with them. And, when she and their host both happened to be out of sight at the same time, it never crossed anybody's mind that their disappearances could possibly be linked!
Maybe this is why she earned an invitation. Or maybe it's unrelated, and she's just that alluring when she wants to be.
