Every time you see a bug in a GameFreak game just remember it's because they had to spend so much extra time excising all the Pokemon fucking that one dude kept slipping in.

So we now know; Pokemon breeding is a Canon event. And there are Pokemon who Actually want to have relationships with people.

Canon? Perhaps not. It was clearly internal world-building material folkloric in nature which may or may not be intended to even be true in-universe. It was yoinked directly from Gamefreak though, so you literally can't get any more official than that.

I mean, with all of the obvious furbait designs we all knew they've known what they were doing for a while. It's just kind of wild to actually see this out in the open. Shit actually makes Palworld almost look tame.

Yeah, or repost here. I see in the gaming news that Gamefreak suffered a massive leak, but this particular aspect definitely needs more context...

There's also one that got found elsewhere in the dump which is basically a word-for-word duplicate of the Octillery one except featuring Lapras, hence the above pic and a whole barrage of new jokes about all of Lapras' official art looking like it's making bedroom eyes at the viewer.

The first part of that Slakoth story has some uncomfortable real-world parallels.

As for the rest? IMO, the dark nature of it is more surprising than the "Pokemon + human" aspect.

But I had to laugh at how those lore tales opened. It's a perfect tag line for this site: e621: Keeping the boundary between humans and Pokemon unclear since 2007!
