  • I heard this is a bad idea because **apparently** the water will wash away the natural lubrication and risk chafing. Although there's not a lot of friction going on.

That seems plausible. Anything sexual in water always sounds fun in concept but in practice can be a bit impractical as water can wash away any and all lubricants natural or otherwise. :p

Bad idea or not, the concept is still hot and that's what matters here.

Genuinely curious: has anyone tried this? Is it actually pleasurable?

Not speaking as someone who has done it nor do I have the same bits to confirm or deny anything but if I had to take a guess a shower head aimed the correct way is probably a decent source of external stimulation like a vibrator. Pretty much any mundane thing that vibrates the right way & in the right place would probably work if they're into it. That said, the way the subject is aiming here it probably wouldn't be all that pleasurable irl xD. I'm hoping this doesn't come off as creepy, I can never tell on this site sometimes :/ .

The issue with shower heads is that alot of them have pressure but don't have enough volume, which just results in a painful jet of water. If you can have a jet that's strong but 'soft', so to speak, it works. It absolutely works.

So force divided by area? Pressure. Makes sense.

The closest male analogy I can think of would be the water jet in the pool scenario. Not quite the same but functionally pretty similiar where you have a water jet that is both wide enough & has enough pressure to trigger stimulation in the right areas. Women have a lot more nerve endings down their compared to males so it doesn't take that much stimulation comparatively if that makes sense.

Maybe not with the shower head depicted but mine has a mist mode that still gets really good localised pressure that in the words of my ex "Felt better than any toy she'd ever used" and that's saying a lot, she was a slut

Person with female anatomy here, I’ve done this MANY times and without getting into too much detail I can indeed confirm it works wonders with the right type of shower head and setting!

The pressure/volume thing is spot on, without a good balance of the two it can either hurt or just straight up not do anything, or secret third option of the pressure being perfect but the actual individual jets being too distantly placed to consistently hit the right spots. I honestly prefer it to a decent amount of my toys lol, it doesn’t quite feel like a vibrator but I honestly don’t know what else I could compare it to.

It’s more of an external/clitoral stimulator than an internal one- at least in my experience, it doesn’t really work if you try do it internally and it can be kind of uncomfortable, and the washing away of natural lubrication can be a problem. In reference to the first comment about chafing despite the lack of friction, I believe it’s less of the water itself causing the friction and more like afterwards, the vaginal walls rubbing together without the natural lubricant can become uncomfortable.
