April 7th:It's that time again e621! The 2025 staff drive will be opening later this week! Please get your resumes and forklift licenses ready and keep an eye on the news/forums. Hope to see some fresh meat for the salt mines.
Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

MemberOkay, but how doesn't it meet guidelines? That's really vague, post flagger.
Manitka
Memberthat's the default flag, they cant write out a better one, you only are allowed to select form a certain list of them.
I'd assume it's because of the clipping in the animation, pomni's thighs clip into jax's pretty noticeably in the middle of the animation
TheObservingEye
MemberWhile I'm not a huge fan of the content on display here, I really don't see any issue worthy of flagging in this video. The animation's smooth enough, and the hip clipping's not so egregious as to get the entire thing removed. Even the tags meet the minimum requirement (I think. I'm not an expert E621 rule lawyer.)
Maybe the flagger sees something we don't? Or is trying to flag something else altogether? That's about all of the acceptable reasons I can think of.
Bigknotman12
MemberFirst time uploading in E621 (bc there is A LOT of videos and images that are in other sites that aren't here) and get flagged for... absolutely nothing wrong ? I could understand the tags but they match the video
DDHOLMES
MemberIdk man it sometimes feels like some of the animations are flagged all cause the person who flagged it just didn't like the animation overall
klara69
MemberI'VE SEEN WORSE ANIMATION QUALITY THAN THIS 😭 unwarranted flag tbh
Kentarro
MemberMaybe they just don't like seeing their favorite characters getting treated like bottoms XD
afoxinabox
MemberThe only thing I thought they could try to justify is the "young human" thing but Pomni is canonically 25 according to the creator. And I'm not a fan of the art style, but that is a huge stretch if they try to claim that. I mean look at the model that chose?
Piano0000000
Memberhey mods can we have a more in-depth flagging system so we don't have this type of confusion on a daily basis
DDHOLMES
MemberMate there's been many cases especially as of lately when there would be a flag for no reason. Just because you work for the crew doesn't make everyone competent when it comes to these flags. Hell I've seen you flag animation labeling it as human only when nothing within the animation is just only human

JanitorThis is like literally the reason why I do not like responding to dmails I get these days, it's copy-paste responces from guidelines, then people get angry at me for not talking to them but slamming them with the book because somehow that changes the situation when I waste my time explaining same stuff that's already written down.
"But the post did not have any humans in it, restore it" is one of the most common dmails I get from deletions that have been correct for irrelevancy under uploading guidelines humans section. However really often this is on basis that the user knows the character from mass media property and knows they are not supposed to be human or it's author who didn't mean to portray them as human, but everyone is constantly missing that's not what's written on the guidelines or how tag what you see operates.
Then person who is more aware of how site operates, flags the post, which causes fucking protest in the comment section because princess bubblegum porn everyone liked is getting deleted now! And this is why flagger name is nowdays also hidden on top of other reasons so that people who do actually good work aren't constantly being harrassed.
Alternatively it's flagger who flags content just to try to get it deleted and tries that by constantly flagging stuff they do not like or think they interpeted to not be acceptable.
...but at that point why do users need to deal with this? We have admins and moderators for this, which have more insight on the situation and can talk to user doing things if they are unsure as to why they keep flagging stuff and hand out records if it's more obvious and these do not happen that often enough to warrant change how things are currently handled and even that's not up to users to behold to individual malicious users, staff is for that.
Basically just calm the fuck down and let stuff be handled. There are discussions internally to improve upon the system in general, but going back towards the dark past of previous ownership and fully free text, most likely won't happen for many reasons.
