  • I have to comment on one thing:

as I was uploading this animation, I made this a 1920x1920 resolution and converted it using handbrake as I have been for a long time now. for some reason here, the site would refuse to accept this, claiming that the video is anamorphic with 9:19 aspect ratio when it is simply 1 to 1.

redoing it in blender fixed the issue however so idk, might be a handbrake thing or I don't know what's goin on. hope ya'll enjoy regardless.

So, was literally commenting on other post, but Handbrake is definitely weird when you try to do any other video from any normal 16:9 resolutions, it will forcibly tries to autocorrect what you want.
So if your video is 1920x1920, Handbrake will actually encode the video into 1920x1080, then add anamorphic flag to tell the player to stretch the video back to 1:1 aspect ratio. You can even see this if you have "Dimensions" tab open, on bottom left it says "final dimensions" and says 1920x1080, even if video is input and output as 1920x1920.
To avoid this, you have to change "Anamorphic" to "none", "Resolution limit" to "none" and uncheck "Optimal size", then manually check that Source and Final Dimensions match.

This is kinda the problem when you have something with so many knobs and dials and then try to make it as newbie friendly as possible, you need to start assuming what the intent from user is and make the buttons as simple as possible as if they selected youtube 1080p preset, they most likely didn't want the video to be 4K.
However one major flaw I have seen was that VP9 did not allow two pass previously with quality mode, but it's now implemented in 1.8 and newer, enable that always.

Blender literally just uses FFmpeg and that just uses the aspects like resolution from input to output so nothing like this happens there.

I see what you did there.

ah yes, paying homage or respects to tribute the best flash animation from 16 years ago that to this day still is far better than most content these days
(its just my stinky opinion again, just it kinda sucks that art these days is so profit driven when back in the day you could find animations like that and they were purely passion driven. supporting because you want to is so different from supporting because you "have to" to see uncensored or uncapped quality, and also the fact that the anatomy of the duo is as pristinely accurate as it can be before all the fetish waves, xl sosiqs or humanoid anatomy which I just, eugh.)
that said I am not holding grudges against people chasing the bag because well, they deserve getting paid and also living in today's economy sucks and some big corpos like paypal going after people's livelihoods because they hold a monopoly over baking systems is just not helping with anything. its incredibly frustrating listening to these out of touch billionaires preach for how they must not get any competitions because their trillions of dollars in profit is otherwise in jeopardy, oh the horrror.

    handbrake nutshell
...also do you like take 3D animation commissions?

ah that does make sense, I should some day create a preset setting or something for it so on those odd days when I do make non standard aspect ratio'd content it should not break with stuff, I had even tried my hand with Kdenlive editor and that one especially didnt like to compress anything but 16:9 aspect videos, otherwise it will stretch stuff and of course no matter how many times I compiled videos, they all looked like pixel garbace with no detail visible and the filesize still being upwards of 100mb or even more for few seconds of animation, imagine releasing a 20 minute animation like some actually talented artists here do and fit those in under the 99mb limit to be postable while not looking like total ass.

also for commissions, unfortunately no, I dont think I am mentally stable enough to take on those, not even ready to discuss pricing because I know I would either get used for cheap, or ask for something that feels like so much it causes so much more pressure than I am already having trouble dealing with.
I hate saying no every time people ask becuase I just feel like a total disappointment because I am not even able to fulfill my own goals, not to mention putting additonal pressure on fulfilling others'

I know I had a patreon but decided to close it last year's june as I genuinely felt that I do not deserve to have it on, and I still clinged to my decision of not making people pay for the models I release, and to this day all of them still are free to grab on my FA page, you'll just have to do with what I make when I make when I feel like it. it is what it is

Funny thing is, that most of the time animators don't actually have idea what they are doing and just use high enough constant bitrate and put it on sites like newgrounds or cloud storage. This is also why there's not that many websites where authors can post their pornographic animations to begin with, the files are massive and require transcoding.
Regardless, I then take it and have my machine crunsh it for over night to fit into that 100MB limit with FFmpeg to upload here and that's why I have hundreds of 90+MB uploads. With one animation did hit the 1 hour limit for lenght sadly. It's at the very least better than decade ago where 10MB SWF flash files were the norm.

Also I know exactly what you are talking about as you have similar symptoms to a lot of other artists I have seen and talked with, many closing patreons which I paid money towards because "not deserving it" and all that. Money does have value which makes all people act weird, some more than others, so you just do what you deem most comfy. Also totally can get behind the idea of when doing something for money, it becomes actual work with responsibilities, rather than something to do for yourself and for fun.
I did see the models being downloadable, so I could technically ask and commission someone else to do stuff, but it's also the animation style and good renders.

  • Love your work as always (especially her butt, looks cute.)

Would you mind if I ask if you still work on Enfrair? I kinda missed him.
