    It's actually kind of impressive how many times Ridley has been able to lose to Samus and cheat death for another rematch.

    It's because:

    -Ridley is mostly a silly goober this entire video until that point.
    -Samus gets in rough spots but she's never been messed up THAT badly.
    -Her statements aren't her being enraged about her family or the baby, but about how she just wants to stay alive.
    -You are familiar enough with Fusion to know this is going to end violently.

    Its not just Fusion but all Metroid games with Ridley. 9 times out of 10 he tends to be the toughest fight in the game.
