Description
Amtrak’s Acela was going to have a diesel variant for non-NEC, Canadian, and even some UK routes. It was called the JetTrain, went on a passenger test run in Canada(?) in the early 2000s, but obviously never took off. It was never scrapped as it’s still properly preserved in Colorado.
And although the massive train being run on ARA has caused controversy, a spokesperson for the Canadian National Railway Company has publicly stated that, "Touching tips is not actually gay in this circumstance."
