Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

MemberI like it, personally. If part of the intent behind it is to have a unique and distinctive animation style, it's definitely working. Turbo's animations are instantly recognizable because of it.

MemberDistinctive, yes. In a good way? I'd argue not. The low FPS aesthetic doesn't really compliment the art style in any way.
I will say though, I've checked out some of TurboRenegade's earlier animations and it made a little more sense back then. Such as the Tasque Manager animation, for example. It had a more cartoony art style, which worked with the low FPS to sort of create a stop motion style. I still don't like it and don't quite think it works completely, but the low FPS aesthetic at least served some purpose in that context. TurboRenegade's art style has changed since then and it just doesn't work anymore.
I'd say revert back to a more cartoony style or ditch the low FPS style entirely. TurboRenegade's animations aren't bad by any means. I really want to like them, but I think they're being held back by a lazily implemented gimmick.

MemberOk I'll stop the "choppy fps" arguing debat now by saying, watching turbo renegade only for the porn is like ordering an ice cream for the cherry that's on top, it's a really cool plus but come on we all came here for the ice cream
