Little late night doodle of my chakat Patches. I wanted to give hir a childhood friend that shi went to Starfleet Academy with but struggling with a name. Thinking of possible space or sky themed names, but I'm also open to other ideas. Comettail was the original name for this character before I redesigned hir (wasn't vibing with hir gray/black/white monotone theme with the personality and Vox suggested that red hair would be fun)

A little backstory, the two kats were childhood friends and grew up together on Chakona in a small town. Everyone knew the two were close, but Patches would never admit that shi had the biggest crush, following hir friend around, contently going along with whatever shi wanted to do. The friend is much more spunky, assertive, and outgoing then Patches, and has dreams to travel the stars and making it big in Starfleet and maybe someday be a pilot or even a captain. Patches, being naturally shy, passive, and indecisive on what shi wanted to do once shi grew up, was just happy to be with hir friend and followed hir lead.

After graduating high school, the two of them joined Starfleet academy at the same time, but when they graduated, Patches was distraught to find out that shi and hir friend were assign to different starships! They still keep in contact and meet up whenever they get the chance, chatting about what adventures both of them have been on.
