More new characters for Patches' story in the Chakat Universe. We were introduced to Patches' childhood chakat friend, now named Sunflare. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59950568/ [post #5423746] Sunflare grew up in a small town in near Eyre on the Flinders Continent of Chakona. I imagine that hir mother is likely a foxtaur vixen and hir sire is a chakat, hence why shi is so fluffy and fox colored, but that could also be from the random pattern gene that most chakats possess. Sunflare is spunky and full of energy and dreams of piloting a starship and someday become a captain of hir own fleet. After the Federation Academy, Sunflare was assigned to a Star Fleet starship as ensign and quickly became close friends with a Starwalker Stellar foxtaur named Noire and Rakshani named Rihanna.

Noire has been an engineer on the starship for a few years now before meeting Sunflare, working on repairing the ship both inside and outside. Noire was born and raised on a space station outpost and had many years of shadowing hir parents to gain experience in working under different types of situations. Shi is very knowledgeable in hir field and can be very confrontational and hardheaded on making sure things are done the right way, no short cuts! Shi enjoys Sunflare's company and is entertained by the chakat's antics, having always finding away of getting the three of them in over their head but always finding away to pull through.

Rihanna ap Korso na Katn’sha, as her name might suggest, is Sakana's older biological sister XD I know I wanted another Rakshani in the cast and thought it would be an interesting twist to have a sibling for my "short stack" Rakshani. Unlike her younger sister, Rihanna is average height at 7 foot 5 inches. She keeps herself in shape with a passion for fitness and wellness. Despite her staggering height and physic, Rihanna is very caring and almost motherly towards her close friends, always making sure that Noire eats enough meals and doesn't stay up all night working on projects. It didn't take long for Rihanna to pull young Sunflare under her protective wing and keep tabs on hir well being as well. Got to remember to stretch and stay hydrated!

I still don't have a name for the starship that Sunflare, Noire, and Rihanna are on but it's probably a first contact Star Fleet ship, in comparison to Patches' second contact Star Corps ship. Maybe after lesser known Terran Constellations, like Lepus or Aquilla or Cetus? Idk, If you have any suggestions, let me know. I'll figure it out at some point XD
