Sleeping Troubles

There are dangers to being a Pokémon trainer.

Oh sure, everyone talks about the obvious ones. Walking out into the wilderness at ten years old, with only a rat on fire for protection. The frankly unsettling amount of armed criminal groups waiting to beat you up. Literal deities. You know, the classics.

But that's all other things. They don't talk about what a handful it is dealing with your own fuckin' beasts.

Listen. Have you tried dealing with one of those superpowered creatures when it's in rut?

I'm not talking a sweet little Poochyena trying to hump your Mom's friend's Spritzee. I'm talking a fifteen-foot long snake snapping a tree in half with its love-curl. I'm talking a lamppost half-crushed and shorting out because it apparently looked too much like a nice lady-Ekans. I still owe Driftveil for that one...

And I'm most definitely talking about being on your guard while you sleep. Because forget freshly-fainted Ratatta on your pillow; try a horn-snake that seems to mistake you for a nice receptive female.

And don't you think you can just push him off. This thing can bring down most Mightyena in a single bite. I've seen him bend rebar in love-addled lust. Yeah. Imagine that around your spine in a forest night...

So when you wake up in the dead of night, as stripped-down as you can cope with to handle the humid summer air, and the one creature that can protect you in these wilds has wrapped his heavy, scaled body around you in his sleep - and his winding, twisting, slippery shafts are already making you squirm and grunt and bite your lip as he works them ever-deeper inside you with slow, sleepy, glacial undulations...

It doesn't matter if you're into it or not. There's nothin' you can do to stop him.

...At least cursing makes me feel better.
