Checkout this video, it's so much better and told many other things which were missed by the anime.

I am not saying it's only enriched because it's condensed, but it's also good because the anime talked about some facts which were not possible to deduce( eg: sun diameter was established to current numbers around 1800s, from gpt ), but the church already knew it which basically would mean they knew than geocentricism is a lie and that defeats all the hard work protaganists do throughout.

Similarly, many other things which were not coherent enough. It's like, the authors read about the events and put them in an anime as they recall, but they did not care much about the ordering of events.

I mean, you're right.
The story takes place in the Kingdom of P, which is loosely based on Poland, rather than in Poland itself, so we already have a story set in a fictional country. This anime was never meant to be accurate, and you can deduce that from the first episode.

if i wanted to know the facts i would certainly read abt it or watch a documentary not from an ANIME, i just want to see how the author explores the themes of censorship, religion and convictions, couldnt care less if he got wrong the sun diameter lol

I understand where you're coming from & sorry you're getting dunked on over it, but this is very much the "wow cool robot" meme. This sort of thing has a tendency to get under my skin too with historical fiction, but you're missing the forest for the trees. It's a thematic work, not an accurate one.
