Yay! New family member!

i think so, from what i can see. im pretty into the cat breed thing. sometimes they call em silver tabbies but yours looks like a blue to me. what a cutie!

He's a sweetheart. It's going to be a couple weeks or so before he and the others (1 cat, 2 dogs) probably calm down and just realize the pack still has harmony. Right now, there's a lot of "furry politics" going on.

Hopefully you or the furniture doesn't get in the middle of it.

Hey, that's what I did with the wife! :hatsoff:

Here's a little pic of him. He's.... uh.... adjusting with the rest of the pets :D And they're adjusting too.

Our cat looks alot like that, but more black. His name is Grissom aka Bitey aka Tippy-toes aka Mr. Cookoobananas. We adopted him in February. A co-worker of mine found him cold, emaciated and a little mangy. Very affectionate though. I took him home and to the vet and soon he was all better!

He is related I guess to a breed known as "Coon" cats and has a lot(too much)fur, you can brush and comb him endlessly and it just keeps coming. But he is a good cat who is friendly and feisty.

Sounds a lot like...me.

I guess there's a reason my Turkish friend calls me "minik kedi". :D

Well, he's minus a couple little bits of his manhood... Or maybe, tomcathood. Either way, I think we'll all be a bit happier for that in the coming years.

haha yeah. its so much easier for them to fix the male cats. having my girls spayed was terrible. i hated it. its major surgery for the females. i so dont ever want to go through that again. i really didnt want to do it except for that huge risk of breast cancer they can get if you dont spay or mate them.

He's getting funny now. Apparently, he's been eating and drinking and resting enough that now he's able to engage in some hilarious midnight freak-out sessions. Then he naps...

H

Love the freak-out sessions. Grissom does them too, just not at night. He seems to like us as an audience for his sessions. I just love having a feisty cat that goes crazy sometimes. My childhood cat never did that much. But my fiancee has had cats all her life and is familiar with their wacky behavior. Sounds like your new addition is doing good H. I'm happy for you all.

If you want some extra entertainment you could always have them go after a flashlight beam or a laser pointer. :1orglaugh

He's already been introduced to Mr. Laser-pointer :D He loves it just as much as every other animal in the house. Or, he hates it. Hard to tell. Whichever, he simply MUST... catch... red.... dot......

I know a person that had a dog that would chase and bark at his own shadow. It was funny until you realized that unlike a laser pointer you couldn't turn it off. :1orglaugh

This is a little late but I just would like to congratulate you, H for the new family member!

Thank you. :wave2:

And yes, D-Rock, that would get older than old if you had a dog that was probably literally going crazy barking at his own shadow.

Seems as though this little guy's getting used to our other animals, and they're getting used to him as well. Probably going to be another week or two before they're all one big pack again.
