A tracksuit is a matching set of pants and a jacket, commonly worn as athletic wear usually while running or jogging, but are very frequently worn casually as well.

Tracksuits are made of lightweight water resistant synthetic materials like nylon or polyester, the jackets frequently have zippered fronts, and pants have elastic waistbands or drawstrings. Tracksuits can come in a range of designs, but are most often are depicted as black or navy, with stripes on the sides of the pants and jacket. In some cases, the jacket may be substituted with a matching sleeveless hooded shirt, or tank top, while the pants may be substituted with a matching pair of gym shorts. If the pants or jacket are individually, consider tagging track jacket or track pants instead.

Tracksuits have a stereotypical association with Eastern Europe, specifically the Gopnik subculture, where tracksuits are usually paired with a flat cap; tracksuits also have an association with early (1980s) hip-hop/rap subculture.
